Delilah is a graceful yet exquisite sectional ceramic vase, inspired by the biblical text of Samson and Delilah. Delilah was a very tempting and powerful woman in her time, capable of taking down the strongest of men, like Samson crushing his vigor with her bewitching abilities. The artwork has a smoke covered white-crackle glaze from the raku firing process, which gives the piece a very alluring appearance to multiple audiences. Like Delilah it makes the artwork very big and powerful but delicate on the eyes.
